On Display

“On Display” is a film that has been screened at Kino Club Helsinki’s screening event “Sexuality” in 2021 and at New Cinema Zvezda in Belgrade in 2023.

Digital and analog footage combined and cut in digital workspace. Capturing the material happened on far island, Utö, without an access to a comprehensive studio.

In the work, different technologies of capturing moving image, such as 16 mm film and digital DSLR footage, distinguish from each through their materiality. The work processes cheap and relatively reachable technology opposed to bigger production equipment.
